If you’re looking to jazz up your night, why not belt out a few tunes in Rice Queen’s very own Karaoke Room! Hidden towards the back of the diner, you and your friends can relax, with exclusive use of the room, have a cocktail (or two) and reacquaint yourself with your inner Elvis.

(Our room comfortably seats groups of up to 16 people. Bookings are based on a minimum spend of $15 per head for 90 minute sessions.)

Rice Queen is now at a new location,  389 Brunswick Street. In some ways the new Rice Queen is very different to her former  incarnation, but fundamentally similar in others. The room is a significant shift, being smaller and more intimate and has taken the kitsch design element that was much loved about the old venue to a whole new level.

Rice Queen’s menu has increased in size and variety with a wide selection of dishes focusing on varying cuisines from across Asia. Our new menu is geared toward shared eating, a common theme in many Asian cultures. Our new drinks list keeps things intimate with a smart selection of wine, fantastic cocktails, sake and beers that reflect and complement the food.

The new venue also has the fabulous addition of a Karaoke Room, perfect for pre or post dinner fun. Dinner is available Tues-Sun and we offer lunch on Saturday and Sunday.
